SBQ 6/29/06 and a UFO

Today's SBQ was suggested by Cheryl and is:

What do you do with your charts once you've stitched them? Do you keep them or dispose of them? If you keep them, do you organize them in away that is different from the way you keep your unstitched charts?

Once I have stitched a chart, I usually will keep them. Only because I am laboring under the delusion that I will want to stitch it again. I have not stitched a chart twice. I keep most of my stitching stuff in two clear boxes. The smaller of the two boxes I keep my current WIP's and in the larger box I keep the charts I have already done or want to do.

Now on to my UFO, I started this the night Hurricane Ivan came through the Gulfcoast. It is called Tribal Beauties by Jeanette Crews Designs in her Explore Africa book. That was September 15, 2004. I will always be able to remember that hurricane because of this piece. That being said, it has a lot of color changes in it and I became frustrated with it. Did I say it had a lot of color changes?-LOL So, I put it down. I really would like to finish it, so my goal is to finish by the end of July. We'll see how it goes, any words of encouragement would be helpful.

The frog paid me a big visit on my alphabet soup sampler, so no happy dance there yet. I can't seem to get my stitching together this week, hopefully the weekend will prove more fruitful! In other news, my DD had a high fever starting Thursday night of 101.8 and then of 102.5. I ended up taking her to the doctor because she has hemoglobin SC disease which is a form of sickle cell. Unbelievably she had walking pneumonia and was started on an antibiotic. I wish it would start to kick in, tonight her temp was 104! I really hope to see this fever go away and soon!
