Winter Exchange from Myrna

I received my winter exchange from Myrna of Still Living in Wonderland. She sent me an awesome exchange with a pin keep post called signs of winter by Bent Creek. I really like this finsh as all you have to do is change one pin keep to another as the season changes! She also sent an adorable scissor fob and just a treasure trove of goodies. They are already being put to great use-so no pictures. But, you can see a much better picture of the entire exchange on her blog! Thank you so much Myrna! I love everything and btw the cat treats are already gone along with the peppermint too!

In other news-still working on my 2009 stitchng plans-so many charts and so little time! I have started a Lanarte kit and I am hoping to start the LK Halloween flips. I am a little dissapointed-I didn't do a whole lot of finishes this past year-in fact it was less than 2007. I know it's about the enjoyment of stitchng-but I would love to accomplish more. Also, I have been in a serious stitching slump! But, it will get better. Thanks for taking the time to stop by! Happy stitching too you!

What a brilliant idea! I've always loved that pattern :o)

Can't wait to see what you have been working on. I finally got my 2008 finishes and 2009 goals up in my Graveyard.

Love the pin keep post; what a great idea! Hopefully your stitching slump ends soon. I go through them regularly myself. Perhaps pick up something small and easy to stitch just so you have something to show yourself? I've been doing a lot of those lately; I get tired of the bigger ones and tend to just walk away. Now that I've said that I really need to get back to my Thomas Kinkade piece!

I love the cheery little penguins in your exchange. : )
Hey, I found I am enjoying working on pieces that I need to finish as they were UFOs. Then I can start something new. I sure need to get excited about a project. I want to get a few framed, so that may give me the incentive to do others.

I know all about stitching slumps! :( I usually have a couple every year... you'll get back into it though, you know you will. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on the Lanarte kit (how cruel not to tell us which it is though! LOL) I'd love to do the Halloween flips this year... but as you say, so many charts and so little time!

Your winter exchange from Myrna is beautiful! As is what you made for her.

I know I'm late, but Happy New Year Sharon. I hope 2009 is a wonderful year for you. x

This pinkeep stand is so cool! I love the pinkeep you've received with it, such a funny snowman and penguins.

I was having my last stitching slump during the last weeks of the last year when I had to finish an exchange and some gifts. Just perfect, lol. I hope that you will get out of yours very soon.

What a lovely exchange gift. Don't be disappointed in what you did or didn't get done in 2008.

This is a hobby and not a race, its for us to enjoy!

Hey Sharon,

I noticed that you live in Florida...I know it is a big place but are you anywhere near Port Charlotte? I'll be there in a couple of weeks...
