My First Pinkeep

Well after fiddling and fooling around for three hours, I finally produced my first pinkeep. Let me tell you the mind ain't what it used to be-as I made it much harder on myself than it should have been. Hint to myself-read the instructions all the way through! Thanks to Cathy from With Needle and Thread for emailing me the instructions. This is one back I will not be showing! It looks okay for a first attempt I guess. Now you guys be honest and if you have any helpful tips-help a sistah out and send them along! Now off to try a flat fold! Wish me luck.

It looks pretty good to me! The second time around will definitely be easier - I had trouble with my first one too! Now you know exactly what to do.

Looking forward to seeing your flat fold - I haven't tried one of those yet.

I think this pinkeep looks fabulous, and a whole lot better than my first attempt would be. I haven't dared start one yet!

It looks wonderful!
I've done flat folds before (I think). They're not hard, just a little tedious. Can't wait to see it!

Your pinkeep is beautiful -- amazing that this is your first attempt at one! :)

I noticed on your favourite movies list in your profile that one of your faves is "The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan".. oh my gosh, I loved that film too. :) I have it taped on VHS and it's falling apart. I wish they'd release it on DVD!!

Hi Sharon!
This pinkeep is a complete success, and -the way I see it- it won't be long until you can finish your pillows the same gorgeous way as your LNS has. I think it's a matter of motivation above all: I LOVE stitching, but I HATE (and so do my finger tips) sewing... lol... So my finishing skills tend to improve very slowly, in emergency phases -never the right moment...
Thank you for your kindest comment on my blog too, Sharon.
Take care!
