It was supposed to be a scissor fob but......

it didn't work out. After three frustrating attempts my scissor fob became a tiny little pinkeep. I had placed lime beads around it and then I tried red seed beads and still it looked not quite right. I even tried to do beads just in the corners-but to no avail.I think maybe my problem was that I had done it on 25 ct. lugana because it was stitched over one. I just had a hard time matching up those edges. I still like the way it turned out and I feel somewhat relieved that it is not hanging over my head. I have a little heart stitched on the back, but did not get a good picture of it to show.

Today, I received a little surprise, Margaret from Stitch or No Stitch had sent me a pattern but unbeknown to me, she also sent me this sweet little dishtowel. It's special because it is the first stitched gift anyone has ever given me. Thanks again Margaret!

Sharon, I like your pinkeep finish. Sorry it didn't turn out the way you originally wanted, but I still like it. Nice gift! :-)

I like the towel you received. I can never bring myself to use these if I get them, they just stay in my bathroom/kitchen as decoration for all to see. :)

I am sorry your stitching didn't come together as a scissor fob, but it looks good as a pinkeep too. :)

The pinkeep turned out great! Sorry it wouldn't fob for you. It can be so frustrating when you have something in mind and you can't quite get it the way you see it in your head. Happens to me ALL THE TIME! What a nice towel from Margaret. She did a super-nice job with the variegation.
