Margarita Happy Dance!

Today I completed Margarita by Glory Bee Designs. Done on 28 count platinum linen if I remember correctly. I used DMC thread and it has mill hill seed beads as the salt along the rim. I changed the border from DMC mahogany and used a Kreinik red metallic thread. A very fun and thankfully error free stitch!

Sharon, that is awesome. I happen to like margaritas and this is a perfect chart. Thanks for telling who the designer is. I love the way the beads look at the rim of the glass.

The metallic thread is a very good idea! It's a funny design all in all! And with the heat we have here, very well indicated! Though I prefer imagining a alcohol free cocktail (alcohol makes me cry and sleep in 5 minutes time -well, better than me singing, believe me).
Take care!

I absolutely adore your Margarita piece ... those beads look awesome as the salted rim! Hmmmm, might have to track this one down myself ... oh boy, blogs are bad for enabling!! ;) Love the photos of your kids too - I smiled back at their huge grins :D And your latest 'heart' finish is lovely - the colour thread you chose is really pretty :) (Can you tell I'm trying to catch up on a few posts? haha)
